Acoustics

Working in a studio is great but acoustically it’d be easier to work outdoor. I faced the drawback of having walls and ceiling for the acoustics and I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge in that department. At least enough to make my studio sound clean and to be able to work professionally in it. I share here some of my findings.

Controllerism

I have started fiddling with MIDI controllers in 2012. First an interface for a kick pedal. Then I built a mixing console and then I hacked my Launchpads. The most difficult thing in developing your own MIDI controllers is the remote control scripts used for Ableton to communicate with them smoothly. I aim to be pedagogic about this specific topic.
